It is here! Two bank holidays, the chance to spend time with family and friends and indulge in all things Easter.

Warmer days are on the way, and we can all begin to enjoy getting back outside.

1. Hicks Lodge just outside Ashby, Stick Man Trail go on a journey and help Stick Man get back to his family home. Plus try out the newly updated children’s playground and onsite café.

  

2.  1620’s House and Gardens in Donington le Heath, Saturday 12th April – Sunday 27th April 10am – 4pm Burglar Bunny Hunt! Can you help the Easter Bunny find his stolen Easter toolkit?

Get crafty this Easter designing very your own Wreath Tuesday 15th April 10am – 4pm.

And the ultimate Easter bonnet workshop Tuesday 15th April 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

3. Charnwood Forest Alpacas in Ashby loads of fun down at this popular farm, come and meet the animals, do some crafting and even a bouncy castle!

4. Conkers in the National Forest has lots of fun and exciting activities, entertainment and fun both indoors and outdoors over the holidays. From 11-27 April there will be orienteering-style egg hunts, falconry displays, craft activities, pedal go karts and swan pedalos.

5. Kids enjoy the soft play at Sunnyside Garden Centre in Ibstock plus mini adventure golf. Adults browse around the garden centre and eat in one of the onsite restaurants.

6. Antiques and Collectors Fair at Hood Park Leisure Centre, Ashby on Monday 21st April 9am – 3pm. An assortment of antiques and collectables to browse around.

7. Cattows Farm at Heather has loads of foodie things to do including Easter afternoon tea, the basket bandit children’s afternoon tea, Easter brunch, Easter Sunday lunch, Easter egg cheesecake specials and Easter picnic specials. Pre -booking is essential.

8. Rebound Inflatable Park in Ashby has plenty of bouncy fun all over Easter.

9. Lambing at Manor Organic FarmLong Whatton come down to the farm and get involved on Sunday 13th April & Monday 14th April, pre-booking is essential

10. Free Easter trail around Ashby Saturday 19th April 10am – 2pm. Pick up a trail map from the BID gazebo located outside Boots on Market Street.
Have fun finding the clues and looking at the beautiful artwork on display across the town. Return your trail form and receive a small treat.
